SMECluster Network to replace TANet as Interop-VLAB UK Pole

SMECluster Network Ltd has replaced The Technology Application Network (TANet) as part of the UK Pole for the International Interop-VLab organisation, a Brussels-based enterprise initiative designed to support research programmes to bring their associated outputs into the common market.

INTEROP-VLab, the European Virtual Laboratory for Enterprise Interoperability (I-VLab), is an initiative to help further develop networked research programmes which have reached critical mass in the Enterprise Interoperability (EI) domain and associated domains (Future Internet and Enterprise Systems Applications).

Created on March 2007 as an AISBL (Association Internationale Sans But Lucratif) under Belgian law, I-VLab co-ordinates now more 30 institutions from 11 countries and over 150 researchers. Read more…
